This is why our ‘whole date flour’ product can be used as a dietary supplement. It is characterised by a high energy source through the date pulp, which provides rapid energy in the form of carbohydrates, while the pits provide fat.

Recommended quantity:

*Dates should not exceed 10 to 15% of the total ration.

*This corresponds to approximately 500g to 1kg of crushed dates per daty for an adult horse.

*For a lighter foal or horse, you can give 200 to 500g per day.

*Always mix dates with other foods rich in fiber and protein.

Precautions:

1/ Introduce gradually: add the dates over 7 to 10 days to avoid digestive problems.

2/ Avoid excess sugars : Excess can cause metabolic disorders such as laminitis or colic.
